Unique stay in Haarlem
Hotel Metzlr House
Metzlr House is not a standard hotel, but a place where history, design, and next-level hospitality come together in the iconic Koepelcomplex of Haarlem. In this more than a hundred-year-old national monument, monumental architecture, refined interior design, and warm comfort blend into a unique destination where every space feels like a stylish homecoming.
Where once the house of detention was central, now a place for meeting, creativity, and new ideas has emerged. The Koepelgevangenis Haarlem was built between 1899 and 1901 by architect Willem Cornelis Metzelaar. The name is a nod to that history: Metzelaar became Metzlr, house of detention became House — together: Metzlr House.
