Stayed at Metzler House during a trip to Haarlem and had a good overall experience. The hotel has a really interesting atmosphere being connected to the old prison building, which gives it a unique character. The rooms are not very big, but the bed was extremely comfortable, which mattered most to me. Staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Overall, a solid hotel and I’d stay here again.

The rooms are small but very clean and cozy. The bed and bedding are super comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and nice. The stairs are convenient and so is the elevator. The breakfast is convenient, well prepared, and huge. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is located one the old administrative buildings of an old prison, you will not be staying in an old prison cell.
